WILD GAME FEED
Currently the Men’s Outdoor Ministry holds a Bible study session each Tuesday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at St. Peter’s. All men are welcome to attend this informal study session.
The group supports the Back Pack program at the Marion Elementary School each year, donates to the International Children’s fund, and volunteer to load containers bound for Africa.
In the past the Men’s Outdoor Ministry held their 12th (and final) Annual Wild Game Feed 2021. They have also donated to several church family members where a financial need existed. Each February they prepare a Valentine’s breakfast and pass out roses to the ladies. In the fall of 2016, 10 cut and wrapped pork packages were donated from the Big Falls Mill and the men distributed 21 Thanksgiving baskets to local families. They also distributed 20 Christmas baskets to local families over the holidays. They have supported the Love Packages Ministry by collecting and hauling recycled Bibles and Christian literature to southern Illinois. They have also utilized the Center Shot Archery program for the youth at Vacation Bible School and did a demo for youth from Scandinavia Lutheran Church.
