Hi, my name is Shelly Klemp.  I was hired as the pastor in December 2025.  I came from Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville after serving there for 7 years.  I was ordained in 2020 after serving as an intern for 1 1/2 years.  I received my Bachelor of Science in Religion with minors in Christian Counseling and Psychology in December of 2015 through Liberty University in Virginia.  I also took 5 Lutheran classes through Saint Paul Lutheran Seminary and The Master’s Institute.  I went on to receive my Master of Divinity in Pastoral Leadership in 2020 through Andersonville Theological Seminary in Georgia.

I have been married to Dave since 1989.  We have 2 grown children–Brittany (Justin) Schumacher and Sean (Carly) Klemp.  We have 3 grandchildren.  2 girls-Quinn (5), Ania (4 months) and 1 boy-Hayes (3).  It is truly a blessing spending time with our family.

We live on the Wolf River, 2 miles north of Shiocton on 187.  We enjoy kayaking and fishing.   My brother and sister-in-law live right next to us, so we host two camping weekends-Memorial and Labor Day.  We have up to 12 campers parked on our land.

Dave and I built a 33 ft. stream in our front yard in 2018.  We enjoy sitting on our deck listening to the sounds of the water and the birds.  Dave and my brother Brad also built a 1200 gallon raised Koi Pond in our back yard in 2020.   Water is so relaxing and with being a part-time pastor, I now have time to enjoy this.

Dave and I are thankful to be part of this community of believers.  It is truly a joy to shepherd this family of God.
